Probably either a security issue (like your av or windows defender deleting something it shouldnt) or a lack of free space. More chance its a security issue.

i installed the bundle and i started playing hl 1 and i realized no one is talking (scientists,security or even the lady voice in the beginning train)
so i checked the sounds file and its empty on all games of this bundle
