Also there is this tool called HDD Regenerator, the only real working HDD recovery tool. It is using custom driver to manipulate the read/write Head of the HDD in order to detect residual magnetism and try to restore bad sectors.

This is HORRIBLE, always store important data on Optical Disks and Solid State!!! the most reliable source! and keep them in dry and shady place! I hope you never lose data again!

Never backup important data on HDDs, because they can get demagnetized over time (I've had this happen to me).
