Hi to all,

At the start of chapter 4 the game freezes. Any ideas why? and how can I overcome this. Nothing too technical please

if you read the comments you would already know how to fix it

seems the first missing file was not actually a missing file like this one. 2 of the zips were named incorrectly, chapter3 3-514-7.zip needs renaming to wache2.zip and chapter 4 4-656-6.zip needs renaming to wache2.zip. chapter 5 is ok.

you will only need to change chapter 4 zip as the repack fixed chapter 3
but we never noticed chapter 4 was the same so we not fixed that aswell but its a simple rename

Hi there,
I downloaded the game and just like a lot of other people it freezes at chapter 4. Now I read that I should rename some zip files but I can't find them, in one folder there is a wache2.zip file though. Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Thanks

chapter 4 should be ok for you if you downloaded the repack version The.Book.Of.Unwritten.Tales.The.Critter.Chronicles.REPACK-KaOs

In what folder can I find the chapter 5 file that I have to rename? I can't seem to find it. There are four folders in the game folder: Data, Extra's, Kagedata & Kapedata. There are so many folders inside, I don't know where to look.
Sorry to be such a pain, but I'm not very good at this stuff (but you might have noticed that already )

Where are that .zip files? got the problem in chapter4 and got the repack version...have put search on the folder for both names and windows dont found it...help please ty
