Hello, I thought I'd share a solution I found that pertains to my specific scenario, which is thus:
I own skyrim special edition on steam, but do not own the anniversary edition upgrade (it's a scam)
I wanted to install lorerim, or any other number of modlists through the wabbajack installer, but I could not because they require the anniversary edition upgrade!
Well, if you are looking to, you can import all the bsa's and bsl's from the SPECIFIC VERSION required by your wabbajack modlist (for Lorerim, it is 1.1670)
From what I have found, only KaosKrew has that specific version, although you have to go through the entire setup for the skyrim anniversary edition install to get just the files that you need, at which point you simply copy them over to the Skyrim Special Edition\data folder in your steam directory.
and ta-da! No more error from wabbajack stating that it can't find those missing files from the anniversary edition any more.
Thanks for listening, I'll try to answer some questions if any body cares.
Wabbajack for skyrim anniversary edition
