total wars shogun 2 fall of samurai not working on windows 8. game starts but it crashes as soon the mouse pointer changes to game pointer . I have also disabled antivirus. Please help me. thank you.

looking at the system requirements it dont say its supported on windows 8 so u might just be out of luck getting it working on there

Currently using windows 7 and have no issues with the install. Only problems I've experienced is very flat maps all the time and ambushes force the game to crash.
