"You must specify a bigfile to load" I am getting this error everytime i start the game and unable to proceed further any idea how to rectify it ?

are you sure it fully unpacked you might of ran out of free space during the unpack
its a old game and i dont have it installed to check on it
but it does sound like one or more of the game archives dont exist

I had around 200gb of free space in the drive where it was being installed .. Just googled it and it seems many have had the same problem not sure if it is because of crack or what if possible do help if not have to delete it..

i don't think it's anything to do with the kaos version .specifically.
Though some peeps say it's to do with the crack or missing "redist" files(not sure about that)

i think u need to be logged in to download it.
it goes in my docs folder and it looks to be a very small file .
so the fix isn't big.

edit: i tried logging in with qq ,but i get "403 forbidden error" ,when trying to download it.
if u have a 3dm account with them ,u might have better luck
it's all chinese to me

There's a crack at megagames ,but it might be the same as what u have. gamecopyworld has the 'fairlight' crack.

p.s... i played the kaos release a while a go and it was no problem.

try running from launcher.exe ,if it's there.
Make sure game folder is excluded from your antivirus .(before u start unpacking game)
make sure u have all the vcredists installed:
see this near bottom of page: try disable the vertical sync from game launcher config and in graphics card.

p.p.s a lot of peeps say the newer kaos repack is best version out there.

any update ?

i have just installed the game and it started fine, nothing wrong with it.

the game uses reg entries, try double clicking the reg file in the extras folder.
the chances are it was blocked by protection software or your not using an administrator account so it will fail to add it, the entries tell the launcher were the data files are.

Added game.reg under extras disabled av running as admin still the same error.

Im out of ideas then, like i said its working fine here, played the first couple of missions
