Later this week, you'll get your first *official* look at gameplay from HITMAN!

It's coming fresh out of PAX Prime during a panel with the HITMAN Art Director and Lead Writer. They'll be talking about the design philosophy behind the visual and narrative universe of HITMAN.

It kicks off this Friday at 20.30 PDT and you can watch it live at twitch.tv. That's about 5.30am Saturday morning for most of Europe but we've got you covered with an upload of the playthrough going up on youtube almost immediately after the panel.

It's now scheduled in as an event right here in the HITMAN Community Hub so you can't miss it. There's more details here: hitman.com.

'Hitman' game update : Release has been postponed to 2016 to add more game content.

IO-Interactive has stated on the blog for the game "Hitman" that it will be delaying its release to early 2016 instead of December 2015 so as to give more time for further improvements and development of the game. (IO-Interactive/Square Enix)
IO-Interactive will delay the release of its game, "Hitman," to 2016. This has been posted on the game's blog. The delay's reason is to give IO-Interactive more time in developing the game so that it would be ready on its release.

IO-Interactive has said that "Hitman" is the biggest undertaking they have ever made, both on the game world itself and the game's own scope and ambition. Because if that, the developer has seen it better to postpone its launch. The game was scheduled for launch on December 2015.

Going further, the game's blog said that the few extra months added to game development would be devoted to adding more game content which is more than what was originally planned. After the launch, there would still be regular updates so that players can experience the best of what the game has to offer. This is also the plan of Square Enix together with IO-Interactive, to give regular updates to the game even after launch.

The scale by which IO-Interactive is making for the game has been compared to the largest there is in "Hitman: Absolution." The developer says that the Paris scene in "Hitman" would be bigger than the biggest in "Hitman: Absolution."

Having a delay in launch can be good, especially if it would mean that there would be more time given to developing and polishing the game. Many games have been ruined because of a rushed launch, with the game not fully tested yet for any bugs or glitches or else the game feels incomplete.

IO-Interactive hopes to prevent those pitfalls that have plagued other developers and games by working on "Hitman" more. This is good for those who are looking forward to the game, as it means that the game will come out much better than how it would have been if released on its original date.

The game's blog did admit that delaying its launch wasn't an easy decision, but IO-Interactive stands by what it said that this is to give players a better gaming experience and a better game overall.
