hay just installed and the game and wont open, install seems to go fine then double click the shogun app window comes up saying "open shogun yes/no' i click yes and get 'total war shogun 2 has stooped working' and a file is created called 'shogun2.dll.2472.steamstar' is created in the shogun folder.

any one know what im doing wrong?

The steamstart file is normal, but make sure that you don't have any mods installed that don't work on pirated versions and that your not running it on compability mode when on Windows 7. Then the game should work fine.

I've got the same problem, it just won't work.

i have the exact same problem ive got the 2.37gb compressed version Total.War.ShoGun.2.REPACK-KaOs ive used ur extraction tool. and put it all in a folder now the folder size after the extraction is 1.55gb witch is weird considering the game is around 22gb.. when i select the shogun.exe it comes up with the intro screen and then a pop up comes up simply saying that it has stoped working PLKEASE help i really want to play this game

hi i have installed this game but i cant get it work, it says that it cant find steam_fucker.dll how do i get it to work?? sorry for my bad english

hello again now i can play but after 4 turns into 5 turn the game crash
