The Binding of Isaac: Repentance wont open.

Fixed OpenAL Error, tried the game again, and no errors nor process coming up, firewall is disabled and ran as admin, redists are updated too.
reinstalled, turned off windows defender

Works here.
I believe isaac uses VC 2015 redist, please try and report back.

I have downloaded VC Redist 2022, that includes 2015, no?

Did you try installing vc 2015 runtimes.
Alternatively try this AIO package.
https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist/ ... ag/v0.64.0
This will ensure all VC runtimes are installed.

Yes i did run the vc 2015 runtimes, says its already installed.
I will try AIO package tomorrow. Not on my computer rn.

Tried AIO Package, all installed already, so i just went to windows updates, and there were many updates not installed, I will install them, ill let you know if it fixes this problem where the game doesnt open.

i hope it fixes it for you, I'm not sure what other redists to try, I think isaac might use XNA framework, im unsure.
I usually install all the XNA, VC, .NET, redist when I reinstall windows so im unsure what you may need exactly.

i already have all of them, uninstalled window updates is the problem them, that should be the fix
