I still have the repacks of Masquerade (repack site, 2021 and 2022), by the steam build I can see the first game was updated in 2014, but I can't find about the second build.
Is this worth a new download or is the same thing?

thats a system issue, not repack related.
there is a list of reasons this could happen from outdated windows or drivers to low system resources or security.
or were this game is concerned maybe the install path you used was not short enough as explained in the instructions but i think thats normally an arc error rather than isdone.
