Issue with EntropyZero 2 from EntropyZero Collection

I am able to play EntropyZero from collection but When I try to run EntropyZero 2, it crashes with error "V_MakeAbsolutePath: tried to ".." past the root."
Config- W1022h2 + i5-12400F + 2x16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM + GTX 1660S + Samsung 980 NVME

you running it from menu.exe or the shortcut on desktop? is the game installed to a short path?
